Yet with such a powerful legacy came a new responsibility: to evolve beyond a media company into a living cultural platform, one that can move forward without losing the soul that’s defined it.

Black Canvas
Visually expressing that BET is the destination for all forms of Black creative expression—where they all come together and take center stage. One canvas that expands, contracts, and evolves to represent that Black culture is never stagnant, and is built to adapt to a robust and flexible glyph, logo, and sub-brand system. The identity extends to BET+, where content is revealed and framed through a dynamically expanding “+” shape; a visual approach that takes inspiration from the BET parent brand system to ensure cohesion without losing its unique identity.
